Be True to Your School-- Go Bulldogs!

I am a bulldog and for the past four years of my life, I bleed BLUE on gameday. My whole life, I've always loved the game of basketball. I'm an athlete, what do you expect? But it wasn't until I came to Butler and sat in Hinkle Fieldhouse that I began to admire the game. I admire the passion of the unsung heroes who step out on the floor, not for money or fame-- but simply to win. I admire the Bulldogs, because instead of letting the hype get into their heads, they've stayed true to their school, because they too, bleed blue. I hope you all have enjoyed March Madness as much as I have, because I have never seen a tournament like this one. So, today I salute MY Bulldogs and I join with the country in saying, "Now America knows what we've known all along, the Bulldogs can not only play with anybody, they can beat anybody" via the Indianapolis Star

Grab a box

...of tissues that is.

Over my vacation (I will post pictures soon), I read another amazing book by Nicholas Sparks called, "The Last Song." I finished the book in two days and I was the girl crying in the sunshine on the beach with crazy Spring Breakers. But I couldn't help it-- this book literally left me feeling paralyzed. It just felt real. I encourage you all to read the book and watch a love story unfold and a family fall back together.

Thoughts..

People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.

Helloooooo Sunshine!

Spring Break is here and this time around, I actually deserve it! In January I entered the "real world"; which to me consists of a 40 hour work week and a 10:15 p.m. bed time. I hear my friends complain day in and day out about their "vigorous" schedule which normally includes an 11 a.m. wake up call, a few easy senior classes and a 1 a.m. bed time-- how hard is that? But then again, just a few short months ago I was that girl. Anyhoo, tomorrow I hit the road with six great friends and Florida is where we're headed. I look forward to posting pictures upon my return home--surfs up dude!
